Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

Hart made a very successful launch into Walmart stores as a high-value power tool brand and they’re spreading their wings into more products for your home. We got our hands on several Hart vacuum cleaner models and wanted to know how they stack up to the traditional brands you might consider.

Whether you’re renting or you own your home, you need a vacuum cleaner. Hart has several options for you to choose from, so which one is best for you?

Hart’s Pro Upright Vacuum is the heavy hitter of the group and there are a lot of reasons we love it over a standard upright vac. For starters, it’s bagless and unlike some of its competition, Hart uses cyclonic technology so the suction power stays high even as the canister nears its capacity.

Then there’s the swiveling head design that easily turns corners and around furniture legs.

The handle is detachable and works with the flexible hose to reach up to 13 feet. The accessories all store on board, so when you need to stop vacuuming the carpet to get that cobweb in the corner of the ceiling, it’s no big deal.

Hart has two stick vacuum options: brushed or brushless. The brushless model extends the runtime, is much stronger, and costs a bit more. If you’re thinking about using Hart’s stick vac as a primary option to hit your entire house, definitely go with the brushless model. If it’s more of a spot cleaner for your needs, you can go either way.

Aside from the motor technology, the two vacs are very similar. We love how much lighter they are compared to the upright vac and how maneuverable the swiveling head makes them.

Air spins around the canister and it does a nice job of keeping the suction levels high as it fills up. Plus, emptying the canister is easy by releasing the lid on one side, and accessing the filter on the opposite side to clean it out is a tool-free operation as well.

Finally, you can release the vacuum head and connect one of the attachments to use it as a vac to reach higher spaces or lower crevices. You can also detach the shaft and use it as a hand vac with the same attachments.

This is actually Hart’s second hand vac and as much as we used the first one, this one is better. Its suction is higher and it still has a lightweight, compact form that makes it our go-to for cleaning up small messes. We like its wider opening that collects larger debris than many hand vacs and how easy it is to remove the canister to dump your collection and clean the filter.

Each of Hart’s vacuum cleaners has a place in your home where it does its best work and having each type on hand ensures you can clean in the most effective and convenient way possible.

Nothing beats cordless convenience and Hart’s lightweight hand vacuum is perfect for spot cleaning and hitting the crevices in your furniture. Pair it with a 2.0Ah battery a make quick work of dry debris around the kitchen, bathroom, furniture, and vehicles.

Stepping up in cleaning power, one of Hart’s stick vacuums is a great broom replacement on your hard floors. Spinning brushes make it a good option for short carpets and rugs as well. The canister holds more than a dustpan and you don’t have to bend over to collect it all.

With the highest cleaning power and widest cleaning swath, Hart’s Pro Upright Vacuum takes care of the heavy lifting. It’s still highly maneuverable thanks to its swiveling head, you can turn the brushes off if you’re on bare floors, and the cord is long enough to cover most large rooms in your house.

When it’s all said and done, the two cordless models take care of the majority of the cleaning in our house and the upright vac only comes out when it’s time to get a better cleaning on our carpeted surfaces. Because the cordless models or so convenient, we stay on top of vacuuming more often and our home stays cleaner despite both my wife and I managing busy work schedules and my obsession with making a mess in the kitchen when I cook.

Each of Hart’s vacuum cleaners is competitively priced and a solid value on its own. If you want to go the whole-home route, you’re looking at $356 – $396, depending on which stick vac you choose.

Look, we all want a clean space to live in, and most of us don’t see vacuuming as a way to have a good time on a Saturday night. Hart vacuum cleaners make the job more convenient and offer an excellent value. For less than the price of one vacuum from some brands, you can snag three Hart vacs and have exactly the right one for the mess at hand.
